Choosing the Right Wardrobe
Before discussing the design requirements with the manufacturer it first important to freeze-in on the location and design of the wardrobe. Consider the layout of the room and where the wardrobe placement would be ideal. Would the placement be obstructing the passage when the doors would be opened and would it disrupt the functioning of the space when placed or used?
What would you storage requirements be? Would you belongings comfortably fit into the wardrobe and would you easily be able to access them? If you have plenty of shelves in the design it would require you to bend your back when you have to access items placed on it. The use of drawers would eliminate the need to bend. These are some of the many things to consider.
Consulting with a modular wardrobe manufacturer would help you in determining the wardrobes requirements from a technical or a manufacturing perspective. This would open up a wider variety of suggestions in terms of placements and functionality.
